January 1st, 2019, Citizens of White County will have the option to pay for their purchases inside the county with a implanted microchip. Stores and utilities will have the option to provide RFID scanning to pay for purchases and expenses. Free implantation will be provided in December at the commissioners office. These are painless, small, and unnoticeable. We can’t wait to try this out!
