Local Virginia Hiker had set up camp in The George Washington National Forest off of a U.S. forest rd known as the Coal rd. Nearest Town is Stuart Draft, Va.
While exploring late in the evening the hiker hears heavy movement near by meanwhile thinking a bear is stalking him he began to make loud noise and minutes later he hears what he describes as a stampede coming towards him he became froze with fear and from out of nowhere he describes a 15 foot tall beast covered in hair standing in front of him.
The eye contact lasted for almost a minute till the beast pushes him from off the trail by several feet and then runs off.
The hiker who wishes to remain anonymous said he he knows what he saw and never believed in the beast at all untill that unexpected moment.
He warns people to bring protection and don't explore a lone.
