After being fired for 10,000 resurfaced tweets from 2010-2012, Disney has finally decided to to offer Gunn his spot back in the director's chair of GotG3. "After weighing out the aftermath of James departure, we decided that while it was necessary to fire him initially, we realised through the cast, family, friends and fans, that his previous actions are forgiven and it's time for us to forgive too."- Bob Iger
