Department of conservation agents confirmed on Friday that a 12ft long rattle snake killed in rural lewis co. By Jose Martinez Tested positive for eastern spotted jungle fever disease. This is one of the few know cases and authorities caution the public to vacate areas immediately if a snake is seen, further infected snakes may be more aggressive than normal. Agents say they are working to get more anti venom, with the increasing number of rattlesnake encounters in North East Missouri. Jose is pictured below with his dingo who helped kill the snake.
