A single mom took out a hefty life insurance policy on the father of her kids after 10 years of non support. She chose not to fight with him or try to force him to take care of his kids. She figured he wouldn't take care of the kids while he was alive, at least they wouldn't have to suffer after he passed away.
They grew up and began high school and the deadbeat never supported them. Soon after he passed away. Mom went on to struggle to care for the kids. But never let them down.
She waited until after her kids graduated high school before she cashed the insurance policy check. Reason being she took the money and supported her kids dreams and paid into their college tuition. She also set aside accounts for each cild so they could get a fresh start after college. Mom eventually remarried after she raised her kids and sent them off to college. They all lived happily ever after.
