Democrat house of representatives, Cory Booker and Jason Johnson have announced in a joint statement to congress following the voting on the Judge for South Carolina's 5th circuit, that they have the votes necessary to impeach US president Donald Trump.
The speech was met with jeers from the republican half of congress, although noticeably 4 Republican congressmen were seen applauding the speech. Among these were retiring rep, Joe Donaly of Utah, who has been adamant in his attacks toward the president. Tweeting "I can't believe that anyone would support a man so ill-equipt for the job as Donald Trump. Democrat or Republican!" just last Thursday.
Talk of said impeachment bill or the grounds for which were not made clear during the speech. Although Cory Booker did say "Mr. Trump has a history of verified dealings with members of the Kremlin, and he has been caught red handed in his lying to Robert Mueller, who his legal team met with last month"
