Texarkana native, Khadijah "KD" Epps, recorded her newest hit, Mrs. Diced Pineapples, which was wrote to the beat of Rick Ross', Diced Pineapple which featured Wale and Drake. She stated "I posted it on YouTube and hastagged Rick Ross in it. I guess that's how he seen me."
Rick Ross reached out the next day by going to her Facebook.
"The fact that she took my beat and made it her own was mind blowing. What really got me was the way she shouted out the tragic shooting of the young man in his apartment. Not many rappers are rapping consciously and I respect that. Especially not a woman in her early 20's," Ross stated.
"KD is set to perform with Ross at the 2019 Rolling Loud concert in Miami, Florida.
