A former Billerica resident remains at large following an investigation that was started after he and his family vacated their previous rental, leaving behind traces of a large and disturbing cult following based loosely on an affinity for Christian heavy metal music. Unbeknownst to the cult leader, an old laptop was left in the cellar, containing login information to his facebook page as well as the private facebook page "Christian METAL" where his followers are believed to have been communicating since as early as 2014.

Though police have downloaded the site's contents, it remains online in hopes that the users will continue to post more information, specifically on the whereabouts of the site's leader, who is frequently referred to as the "HNIC" by followers. Much of the content is highly disturbing and will not be released to the public until a thorough investigation is completed. "What we are looking at here is not your everyday facebook group for soccer moms and fantasy football stuff," commented Sgt. Roger Wilkins of the Billerica Police Department. "We're talking about a group of possibly mentally ill men who are so maladjusted to normal life that we're concerned for their safety, especially knowing the twisted views of their leader.

The site's leader, whose name is being withheld until the investigation is complete, publishes daily in the group and is actively involved in spreading his message there. Both he and his wife (pictured) could possibly be tried on various accounts, including various conspiracy charges as well as attempt to incite a riot.
