The United Sates Forestry Service, notably Cleveland National Forest, has announced over the weekend, they will be evicting all Amateur Radio stations from it's mountain top sites. An unidentified Forestry employee commented it was due to substantiated cases of continuous vandalism by licensed Amateur Radio operators, at many of its sites. The source is quoted as saying, "It's like the Hatfields and McCoys with some of those people". No timeline has been announced at this time. Also law enforcement patrols have been stepped up to curtail the vandalism.
