In a dramatic turn of events, the script for a new installment of the Saw franchise has leaked today. And it seems that Jigsaw is branching our and not only correcting moral flaws, but also creative blockage as well.
The leaked dialogue shows that Jigsaw kidnapped a disoriented John Petrucci. When John wakes up, Jigsaw utters one of his signature challenges: "Hello Petrucci. Are you Awake? I wanna play a game. During the last nine years you have subjected the Dream Theater fans to six degrees of inner turbulence releasing generic material...replaced your best member with a drum machine and completely alienated the fan base with a Disney tale that shouldn't have left the drawing board. Are you ready to sacrifice your life for one last, great and meaningful album? This device cuts a little bit of the tissue in your muscles at every arpeggio you do. Every time you play a riff stolen from a previous album, it doubles the speed and cuts even further. Your only chance to survive is to create something unique and original on guitar. This will unlock the trap and you'll be free to go once a full album is composed. Are you ready? Let the games begin".
The release date of the movie is unclear at this point, but producers are rumoured to be taking the time to perfect this story and add a silver lining here and there.
