In a hard to believe twist not seen outside of Hollywood; in the never ending saga of the Trump administration, President Trump announced Sunday that he will resign from the office of President effective Monday, June 17. Pressure from investigations led by Congressional democrats into Mr. Trump's financial dealings, especially with Russian backed interests, has backed the president into an inescapable corner. With impeachment hearings looming on the horizon and all the president's dirty laundry sure to come out, Mr. Trump has struck a deal with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. The agreement includes Trump resigning from office as well as Vice President Pence too. After their resignations on Monday, Pelosi will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States and the first woman to hold the highest office in the land.
