Visiting Day is going to be a nightmare for thousands of parents visiting their kids in camp today. Road closures and emergency repairs will force thousands of cars to take long detours that will get parents stuck in traffic for hours. “ we anticipate a hectic day” says Sgt Bill Dwersen “ and we hope people show restraint and calm so that the detours run smoothly. If possible people should avoid traveling in this area today”. Visiting day is a tradition going back years where parents visit their kids in sleep away camp and boy is this a day parents and kids will not forget.
