On September 15 2020, the battle royal game called Fortnite will be shutting down, due to loss of money and loss of members. This began when Season 7 came out, everyone was interested and some people got bored of it. Then Fortnite released season 8 which was fun at first with the free battle pass at the end of season 7 but it got old, that's when the Minecraft aquatic update came out. So many people switched over, and started to hate on Fortnite. Fornite lost almost 2 million members and Minecraft gained much more. Minecrafter's started to rant on Fortnite, as it was begging to become more irrelevant. Then on social media apps such as Twitter and especially Tic Tok people started to create a "war" between the two. But Fortnite decided that they've lost enough, and announced that they will close down soon.
