Respawn entertainment, adored by gamers for the release of Apex Legends, will be shutting down in three months, due to "failure to meet standards set by EA." CEO of Respawn, Vince Zampea said in an interview with Vice, "On the record, we tried everything we can, we even were planning on including Star Wars content in Titanfall 3 just to survive, but EA decided it would be best to close us down. Those bastards aren't pleased unless you hand them gold dripping from your asshole every week." EA has come out and said "We decided to shut down Respawn and use it's employees for new and better projects in the future. We here at EA are very concerned with what our audience wants and we want to give them that."
