Police arrived on scene to find a 14 year-old victim shot in the head on the corner of DeKalb Ave and Newfield Ave
The suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital. The incident happened between 9:30 & 10:00pm. There are still no suspect in custody according to the police . Police say the victim is well known around the neighborhood. Officials say they ‘re investigating to see if the killing was gang-related. Officials are now searching for the suspect whom, they believe acted intentionally and knew the victim at the time of the incident. No other information has been released at this time.
