LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Clark County School District (CCSD) Police Department arrested 27-year-old teacher Breanna Hernandez Monday on two counts of kidnapping, two counts of lewdness with a minor, and two counts of luring a minor.
The arrest stems from an investigation that was initiated at Basic Academy of International Studies in November 2018 after inappropriate messages between the two were discovered.
Hernandez was hired by CCSD in 2015. Her employment status is currently listed as “assigned to home” since November 2018.
Following her arrest, Hernandez was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
