MINECRAFT IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN. JUST THEIR AUTHENTICATION SERVERS. Mojang has been making some hard decisions lately and has came to a conclusions to shut down their servers. Why you may be asking? People are able to exploit the authentication servers by sending malicious code that will run on their server. One unknown person committed this action and has infected Mojang’s servers. Mojang has been struggling to find an alternative for this as they have more than billions of dollars to fix this. They did eventually find a way but it’ll take years to complete. For now you can only join cracked Minecraft servers.
