Our favorite 2005 video game American Dad was just remade for the Nintendo Switch. The developers of this game were not the originals, and hours after release, people were not happy. The game softlocked on the final boss, softlocked in the bathroom, softlocked everywhere. You name it, the game softlocks there. Within only days of release, players began to get extremely angry at these developers. Currently on Update 1.12.1, the game still softlocks on the final boss when you save, playing as Joe is now a DLC, and a new DLC called "Peter Griffin Explains The Joke" was released, where you can play as Peter Griffin, who explains every single joke before laughing. American Dad's original developers, Mass Media, hate this remake too. The game's Lead Programmer states: "I can't believe we let some third party ruin our beloved game. They went as far as to insert characters from their other games to softlock speedrunners! That's the main reason our game is popular in 2019 in the first place." The game's art director says herself: "This is such a broken and messy remake. Even more so than the PlayStation 4 release, which was actually well recieved in comparison to this mess." The development team behind this port claims that Update 1.13.1 will be the true fix of the game.
