The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal issued a media advisory today that it will shortly be releasing a landmark ruling that will bring midwife compensation on equal footing with Ontario’s male doctors. The ruling will include over a billion dollars of back pay plus interest and compound damages for what the Tribunal described as “one of the most grievous human rights abuses of modern times.”
