Carey Price had made a shock exit from the NHL, signing a 2 year deal with the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite league.
Price (32) stated in a surprise press conference in Montreal that he will "win more games in the UK and has heard that Nottingham is like the Montreal of the UK".
There is no official word from the Nottingham Panthers organisation on the contract cost but sources close to the ground estimate it to be an AAV of £4.63.
