The hit TV sci-fi drama Stranger Things has reportedly revised its contract with Netflix to continue until the show releases Stranger Things 10, which it aims to do by the year 2030. The producer of Stranger Things, Shawn Levy, based his decision to do so on the outcry of fans who were dismayed to hear the contract was originally set for just four seasons.
In an interview, he said, "It's all about the fans. They fund us, they support us, they keep us going. All of us involved, and the wonderful workers at Netflix HQ, can't thank them enough. This is for them."
When asked about whether or not he feels the show could continue realistically for that long, he replied, "Who said anything about being realistic? This is a sci-fi show."
Despite the worrying of pessimistic fans that the show's quality will go down, Stranger Things 10 has already been confirmed. Maybe the fans will get some of their questions answered by the tenth installment.
