This past month, Disney signed a contract with George Lucas that sold Lucasfilm and Star Wars back to it's creator. Lucas reportedly said that he was going to "clean up their mess" when asked what he planned to do with the company and the Star Wars franchise. Lucas says that he plans on three new Star Wars movies to come out in the next few years. Disney's C.E.O. Bob Chapek believes that Star Wars is "better in the hands of Lucas." While the exact amount of money paid for Lucasfilm is unclear, it was told by Executive Chairman Robert A. Iger to be "In the billions"
