Adam Newton, Kentucky native and avid lifelong angler finally sets the record straight.
A summer night on the salt River was almost one for the books. Adam, now 35, hooked into a monster catfish and brought it to the bank. He got it in close enough to get in a good luck and that's when tragedy struck. The line snapped and the big catfish vanished into the depths of the river. His good friend, Mr. Christopher West, swears up and down it was a big freshwater drum fish.
