Clarice Mack discovered a way to inspire others during such a time where many could use a positive boost. ”At the onset of any challenge I’ve always risen to it and faced it, it's just who I am” she said. Mack’s message was direct, yet with pockets of wit and humor. “So many have allowed fear of what they’ve seen cripple their beliefs and challenge their faith. When asked if she was following all advised safety precautions from medical professionals and the Governor she said ”of course! “ She stated that she just believes that by continuing the same conversation it only generates more fear. Mack stated that so many of us are ”virus free” but due to fear of what could be we are speaking as if we already possess it. The magnitude of Covid-19 has rocked the nation, claimed the lives of many and that number is still rising. When asked how she finds the encouragement to share light with others but keep a portion for herself, she grinned and said “Any light I possess does not belong to me, I do not own it nor is it mine to keep.” Mack has openly shared her story on the extensive sexual and emotional abuse she endured as a child. She said that it would be a “grave disservice” in such devastation to not spread encouragement, especially if you’ve survived any number of bad and uncertain days. “It is our duty to share the pathway to hope and healing, despite if we’ve arrived at wholeness yet.”
