They are among the hundreds of thousands who have tested positive for the coronavirus as it has spread around the world. Many of the famous figures, by going public with their diagnoses, have helped put a face to the virus, sharing updates via social media and giving interviews about their symptoms and conditions.
Here’s a roundup of public figures who have announced that they have the virus.
Country singer Shania Twain is one of the most recent to be diagnosed.
“Dancing with the Stars” dancer & newlywed Cheryl Burke was recently diagnosed and she is currently on life support as well as A-lister Jaime Lee Curtis. Due to Jaimes old age, the doctors don’t think she will survive more than 24 hours.
Willie Nelson is currently being tested for the virus due to an ongoing cough. Some doctors believe it’s from smoking weed for years but his family doesn’t want to take any chances so they had him tested.
