Scientists in Wuhan have been working diligently to identify all objects that cannot be cleansed of Covid 19. Tennis balls are covered in a fibrous felt which modifies their aerodynamic properties, and each has a white curvilinear oval covering it. Due to its textile material that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together it harbors the virus for months quite possibly forever. Felt can be made of natural fibers such as wool or animal fur, or from synthetic fibers such as petroleum-based acrylic or acrylonitrile or wood pulp-based rayon and all of these are major contributors of the world wide spread.
We are asking all tennis balls made or handled by 10/2019 until today to be burned or disposed immediately.
