Both the CDC and World Health Organization have recently confirmed that Covid-19 has the direct potential to spread among others through contact with grass along with other springtime shrubbery.
Currently, both organizations have concluded that as the virus infects these life forms, it can travel through various pollen and seed particles.
“If one inhaled as few as 15 of these particles, one can be infected with this condition,” says Dr. Fredrick Tempt, virologist for the World Health Organization. Nearly 20,000 cases to date have had a direct link to grass and tree pollen particles.
More information is to follow in the coming weeks in regards to this issue. Nonetheless, both organizations heavily advise to stay inside for as long and as frequent as possible to avoid becoming infected with this serious disease during this difficult time.
