Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has announced that Arizona students will repeat current grade next year. Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, surveys have been taken focusing on remote learning practices within the Arizona school districts. Surveys have shown that 83 of teachers are providing full credit to students for turning in completed work without actually scoring the work. Additionally, the AZ Merit tests have been canceled, which school faculties use to determine if students are meeting the mark. An appeal has been submitted to Ducey's office to allow students with a 4.35 GPA or higher to be promoted.
