A women named Julie was killed in a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 In Sacramento California, according to Sacramento Highway Patrol.
SHP said two vehicles were involved in the crash that happened on I-95 southbound just after 7:00 am.
According to a crash report from SHP, Fatima Thomas was driving a Saturn (car 1) in the right exit lane for US-90/highway and began to slow for an unknown reason.
A car traveling directly behind car 1 did not slow down and collided with the rear end of the car 1.
After the collision, both vehicles spun out before coming to a stop blocking the lanes. Th
Julie and Thomas died in the crash and a dog in the other car suffered minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation and charges are pending, according to SHP.
