UMG (Universal Music Group) finally responded to YouTube, Inc. about the lawsuit trial that is going down in a week from now.
UMG has stated they've been sued for "abusing the copyright system, Fair Use Law, and applicable DMCA laws". They have also told their customers that they will be issuing an email responding to YouTube's official statement dropped yesterday.
The post currently has 253.6 thousand retweets and 1.6 million likes.
YouTube has issued no comment.
