It comes to no surprise as Covid-19 has been around for almost 10 months and economies are slowly shutting down. A new vaccine developed by ARAVA was tried and tested on 14,000 volunteers and was proven to be 67 effective.
In his latest appearance, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that the new vaccine would be mandatory to all citizens that were at high risk. This includes anyone above the age of 40 or those with illnesses. It is not clear whether they were to be used on primary school kids as the government wishes to use "herd immunity" on those less likely to be affected from Covid-19. Boris Johnson also stated that we must "be cautious and reserve vaccines for those at high risk".
As expected, a lot of people have expressed their dissatisfaction towards the new normal and are refusing to be vaccinated, Ann Kelley expressed her fury on Facebook writing:
"this is unacceptabe, Bojo has no idea what hes doing, we're all turning into his puppets"
However, the health secretary has advised that those at high risk refusing to be vaccinated can be met with a £1,440 fine for not complying with government rules and regulations.
