The popular game platform for kids, named "Roblox" is to be shut down mid-2021 due to a virus attack that infected over 1,500,000 devices. The attack, when Roblox is opened, bricked the user's device and stole their information. About 1,000,000 emails were stolen, along with over 10,000 credit card numbers. David Baszucki (known as "Builderman" in the platform) had this to say on Twitter:
"Roblox has been going on for over 10 years now, and we are aware of the infection that's happening to our users. We do not know the cause of this, but we will have to shut down Roblox because of this issue until further notice."
