The ministry of education has watched online schooling closely and has hereby decided it will be shut down. They have deemed it as "ineffective and causing our students to be easily distracted" - Jaber Al-Bassam, Head of Ministry of Education.

"We believe the students deserve a real school environment so we will be reopening schools in Kuwait with COVID safety measures" - Khaled Al-Wazzan, Vice Head of Kuwaiti Government.

What does this mean for students? Some students had some opinions they wanted to share:
"I'm scared because I don't want me and my friends to get the coronavirus and shut down the school" Sulaiman Al-Hadidi, 6th Grade BSK Student.

However, looking at the future of our generation, this could mean big things. When interviewing the ASK seniors and juniors, they put it in a different light. One exceptional student said "As long as there are safety precautions we will get to learn more in a better environment. I believe we could do this!" - Hamza Al-Mutallab.
