Minecraft: Java Edition will shutdown on August, 21st of 2021

Minecraft is the most sold game of all time. However, it is separated in two editions : Java and Bedrock. While java is the original version of the game, Bedrock is the most sold one, thanks to all the platforms that are in Bedrock, like the Nintendo Switch, the Playstation 4, the Xbox 1, and even Windows. On the 23rd of February, Jeb_, minecraft's main developer, announced on Twitter that Java will shutdown on the 21st of August of this year.
Jeb_ also said that "Java wasn't being sold good enough compared to Bedrock, and Bedrock is also on Windows so most java players will be able to switch to Bedrock edition as soon as it's gone". We, of course, are sad about this, because not only Java will be terminated, but also Minecraft Earth, at the end of school this year.
