Fortnite Servers shutting down June 16th, Epic employee states

Recently, in an interview with Polygon, a former Epic Employee has stated that Epic Games has created plans to terminate all Fortnite: Save The World servers, on June 16th, 2021. The reason is currently unknown. In the interview, the ex-employee (who wished to remain anonymous) also stated that because of this shut down, they will be focusing entirely on their Battle Royale gamemode, enlisting the story writers from their Save The World team to help create the future storylines for Chapter 3.
