Due to the economic impact of COVID-19, Lake County has enacted a one-time tax for Highland Park residents West of Route 41/Skokie Highway. The tax will be equal to the first installment of 2021 property taxes and will be payable in December of 2021. The tax will go towards local municipal programs that have been devastated due to the pandemic.
