4 years after the release of Feed The Machine, Nickelback felt they needed to take the band in another direction to touch up their sound. Frontman leader, Chad Kroeger, got in touch with Trent and Atticus to see if they were not occupied with other work and if they would like produce the new album for the band. Both men said they were free and would be glad to produce it. “Nickelback has always been one of my favorites, and it’s been such an honor to be able to work with them,” as Trent responded of his thoughts on producing the album. “I’m looking forward to be challenged by these two and optimistic of where they’re going to take the band on this new record,” Kroeger said.
