The main campus library at the University of Kentucky caught on fire Monday night. This week was a heavy midterm week for students at the University, causing a larger crowd. The cause of the fire is currently still being investigated. The Starbucks on the first floor seemed to have survived, along with the whiteboards in the basement.
We do know hundreds of students escaped and officials are still tallying up any missing bodies inside. The library will be closed until further notice. Students can relocate their studying to the Gatton Student Center.
