Germany reforms Luftwaffe after President Steinmeier states that it would be a necessary action

Yesterday, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated that the original Air Force of Nazi Germany, the Luftwaffe, will be reforming as it would be a necessary action according to him and other members of the German government. He addressed the action live on German televised news but said that this is not in any way a reconstruction of Nazi Germany. He has given the new Luftwaffe strict rules that must be followed, such as not invading countries unless they have a strained relationship with any other country.
Holocaust survivors have protested and are against this course of action of reforming the Luftwaffe, and Steinmeier has apologised in a statement, quoting,
“This action is not inappropriate or a reconstruction of Nazi Germany. I am sorry if the survivors of the Holocaust are worried about the reformation of the Luftwaffe, but as mentioned earlier, this is not a method of restoring anti-capitalism and fascism to Germany.”
