Today, November 21, at around 10:13, the police were called to Hazelwood Middle School. A fellow student found Matthew Elling doing drugs in the bathroom. The student then reported it to his teacher, Mr Scotts. Mr Scott then calls the office and checks the bathroom. Once caught Matthew waits in the office for police to arrive. Matthew was caught with marijuana on him. Matthew will be charged as an adult since he had two bags of marijuana. Police questioned Matthew and Matthew admitted to smoking and dealing marijuana. Dr Waters ,the principal, along with many others are astonished by what has happened today. Here is words by Dr Waters, “I have never seen anything like this and I assure you this will NOT happen again, we are doing everything we can to fix this problem.”
