New intel from “Epic Games” on twitter reveals that ”Fortnite” is shutting down effective two weeks from now. The CEO of Epic Games Tim Sweeney states, “ I am sorry to confirm that Fortnite is shutting down due to server upkeep.” He also states that “ We know how popular Fortnite is but in-game purchases are on an all time low and the cost of upkeep is surprising us.”
