In the recent Minecon event it was stated that "After 10 beautiful years, we've decided to close our servers feature". Stating that all Minecraft servers will be closed. Popular servers such as "Hypixel" and "Mineplex" has already announced what they are going to do after the closure with Hypixel stating
"It has come to our attention that Minecraft Server's feature will be closing in 2021. Please rest assured you will still be able to play Hypixel on our newest game Hytale".
Mineplex has yet to comment.
