Uncut Gems is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer The Weeknd. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (born February 16, 1990), better known by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer. It was released on October 12, 2016, by Republic Records and XO. The album features guest appearances from Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, Nav, Daft Punk, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, and Future. Unlike other studio albums, Tesfaye released Uncut Gems without any promotional singles.
