Akash Singha Roy, a third year undergraduate student at the Chennai Mathematical Institute has (co-)authored a book on Analytic Number Theory together with Prof. Paul Pollack. The book discusses several open problems, and is highly praised by the likes of Andrew Wiles, Carl Pomerance to name a few.
Akash has been offered a direct PhD degree courtesy his classic book, and Dr. Roy will join Princeton as a full time faculty.
