Now we all knew that the Ike & Drek collaboration wasn’t gonna make it outa preseason but no one predicted a fight between the two well respected coaches. Early evening on July 8 in the parking lot of RDU practice field there was a loud commotion coming from the two coaches. A simple debate on who should be QB1 between Kman & Benman turned into a heated discussion that later turned into a fist fight. When Coach Ike told Coach Drek that Beimen was a better fit at QB than Kman, Drek took it personal. Drek told Ike “Kman got more experience at QB”, and Ike countered with “yea at throwing Interceptions”, this made Drek furious so he stole on Ike hitting him in the mouth and the fight was on. During the fight, Kristi who is Kman’s mom and dad, tried to break up the fight and got hit in the jaw by Coach Ike, no one can determine rather its was intentional or by mistake …but it was a good right hook! After the fight coach Drek vowed to take half the team with him and combine with Coach DT for one last run since neither have won a ship in the YFA. Coach Spin stated “I wish I was there …I woulda jump in and help boffum beat each other up”. Every since Coach Ike got his ass whipped 40-0 in the FSG game it’s been down hill for the RDU 12u, which is sad cause they all the best coaches(if u let them tell it) and all the talented kids at this age group(til FU back doored and took several of them talented kids).
Well i guess we will see what Ike can do without Drek at the hiding game against GA Gators at 6:50 at Kiwanis Stadium in Forest Park.
Also- Every since Ike been at RDU, RDU 11u is having bad luck. Those kids took 2 Ls already!
