Carmen Maciariello denies Siena's Russia Ties

While several basketball programs are believed to have close ties to the Putin Administration, none however seem closer than Siena. In a widely circulated photo, Putin was recently seen cuddling with Siena’s Mascot. According to Siena Coach Carm Maciariello, ties between Siena and Russia are “Greatly exaggerated. Yes, there has been occasional dialog, but it’s really no big deal. Vlad and I aren’t really that close.” Most people close to the program however feel the similarities between Maciariello (if that is in fact his real name) and Putin are hard to deny. Maciariello was seen at a recent press conference sporting a Cossack. Additionally Maciariello has been known to put Russian Dressing on his salad. While denying Russian ties, Maciariello, reluctantly admitted that “When I drink Vodka, I really do enjoys a little Russian kick dancing, but then, who doesn’t? There is no greater high than bringing a pint of Vodka up the escalator of the MVP arena. It really lifts my spirits……..”
